DDT GISHKI DECK PROFILE
AND DISCUSSION.

How’s it going TeamSlopyTaters fans? Good I hope! Shall we write an article? I think so! Today I’ll be letting you guys enter the world that is, my own personal creation (with some help for Axtyler), my DDT Gishki or Destiny Gishki deck. This is a deck I randomly created from scratch in endeavor to find the perfect mesh between Hero’s, and Gishki’s. I had been working for weeks to find this perfect balance between the two decks, trying Anti-Meta versions, beat stick, everything you could think of. Until I thought outside the box and remembered those little D-Hero’s that we used to use all the time. Destiny Gishki’s were born! Now I’m in love with the deck and I make it my goal to have this deck reach greatness!
Enough of my babbling about the history behind the deck, Destiny Gishki’s, and more about how it works. Below this paragraph you’ll find the complete deck with main and extra. The side is not completely developed yet; however I suggest you build your own side according to the meta game in your area. We run a 40 card main deck with a full extra deck. The extra deck is the most important piece of the deck and the entire main deck is geared toward getting the right extra deck monster out at the right time. Knowing which XYZ monster or Synchro or even if you should go for Absolute Zero, is all very key to the strategy of the deck. Here’s the list.

The Ritual Monsters
Evigishki Gustkraken – I figured we’d start with the least pivotal one of the trio. Gustkraken doesn’t play much into the internal strategy of the deck, however she gives the deck knowledge. With this deck; knowledge is king. Knowing what your opponent is holding onto in their hand is very important in deciding how to play out your turn. If your opponent is holding an “Effect Veiler,” then you know to send out Veiler bait first. “Maxx ‘C’?” NO problem. Gustkraken provides you with information, and just doing that is enough for me to keep her in the deck.
Evigishki Mind Augus – On to one of the more important ones. Mind Augus plays a big role in this deck in keeping its momentum and never having a lack of resources. Mind Augus enables you to re-use power cards like “Dark Hole” and “Monster Reborn,” or support cards like “Miracle Fusion” and “Salvage.” When paired with “Burial from a Different Dimension” you can abuse “Destiny HERO Malicious” and “Plaguespreader Zombie” as much as you’d like.
Evigishki Tetrogre – “Evigishki Tetrogre” is the most important, of the Gishki Ritual Monster Trio. Why? Tetrogre allows you to make “toolboxing” your graveyard super easy and as fast as possible. Using Tetrogre’s effect to send your monsters to the graveyard, such as “Destiny HERO Malicious” or “Plaguespreader Zombie,” can be complete game changers. Most player don’t realize how important Tetrogre’s effect is until it’s too late, we use this to our advantage. Your opponent should “Effect Veiler” or even discard to negate his effect, once you have have your grave set up then you will have no problem winning the duel. Bottom line is: get Tetrogre’s effect off more than once and you usually win the duel.
The Gishki Support
Gishki Abyss – This is the man that searches for searchers so that they can search for more cards. HE is a pretty self-explanatory card, but there are a few tricks you can do with him. Whenever possible always use him and “Plaguespreader Zombie” to overlay for “Gachi Gachi Gantetsu.”
Gishki Beast – He is primarily used to bring back your “Gishki Abyss” and search for more cards becoming a virtual plus two. However you can also use him to bring back “Gishki Shadow” and overlay fo a rank four if you need to.
The HERO Engine
I feel “Elemental HERO Stratos” is easy to understand and most of you should know how to use him. “Destiny HERO Diamond Dude” is primarily used for turns in which you have nothing else to do, or he is fodder for “Destiny Draw.” DO NOT FORGET ABOUT “Destiny HERO Dasher’s” EFFECT!!!!
Destiny HERO Malicious – Get him into the graveyard as fast as possible so that you will never draw that damned second copy! You can always put a copy bay with “Evigishki Mind Augus” but you won’t always have him. Malicious is there mostly for rank six’s you make with him and your ritual monsters. However; when pairaed with Plaguespreader, he can be used to make level eight synchros.
The Left overs
All you need to know is:
-Hold onto “Dark Armed Dragon” until you feel it’s a critical point and he’ll change the game, or to push for a quick game.
-Toolbox Plaguespreader as much as you can.
-Use “Tragoedia” for combos, not to save your ass. If you do that then won’t ever have to save your ass.
Thank you all for reading, the extra deck doesn’t need much explaining; just keep in mind that “Inzektor Exa-Beetle” SENDS cards to the graveyard , and does not destroy them. Hope this helps you guys with understanding how the deck works and how to get the best results when using it yourself!
